Loyal Fans of Wakeup Call (L.F.W.C.)

Greetings from the Hammer!
Thanks for all of the support at Smiler Coogans in January! You won't find a place like that downtown!
Please write me with any funny stories from that night. I know there's gotta be a few.
Special Thanks go to J.White, Franko, John C., Petey and Liz, Scott Sedlock, Al and Rachel, Madelaine, Tony, Maria, Vince, Julie, Sally Ann and Shadoz Edge.

I wanted to keep all of you up to date on band events and news especially since spring is on the way. All of our hormones will be surging through our soft fleshy white bodies soon making us ready to tear down the walls of this icy prison and get out and go crazy.
I am talking about some serious cabin fever here.

This spring promises to be one of the best for Wakeup Call since Danny will be firmly planted in the group, and the next full-length recording will be underway.
Spring also means night wildlife.
Oh, I mean wild nightlife that is !!!!!!

The great news is that the show Friday April 6 at the U.S. Beer Company 1801 N. Clybourn in Lincoln Park is going to be absolutttttttely killer! I've never seen the place, but all of those little elves that live in the bottoms of those beer cans around the back of the house, tell me it's one of the best venues in town. I hope everyone can make it. The party starts at …. well hell, we'll be there at around 8:30PM--- come on and join the Lincoln Park Invasion!
Oh yeah, somebody get a hold of Buzz Brian and drag his ass down there. Thanx.

The bad news is that the show at Smiler Coogans scheduled for March 31 has been moved to sometime in May. Their beer delivery was going to fall short that night because of police and union labor problems so we said "forget it". We only play if there's tons of alcohol for everybody.

Here's some memory fragments:

--Stiff Crank (Kent, Jeffy and Johnny)) came out to Dolphin last week and really tore it up. The original lineup played a few tunes, but I still don't know what tunes they were. All in all it was a great Summit of Stupidity and great homemade schlivo from Darko and Alex.
Ly was there too, lending his usual portion of dry wit. Rounding things off was a rousing Three Man game. If you don't know what Three Man is, it's time to come out to Dolphin Studios and play! It's kind of like Survivor on TV, but with drinks. Thanks for the book Thumper J.

--Tom and I went to TwelveAX2's recordd release party on March 3. Those guys played some great tunes in some super sets. The wireless is really cool. The playing was strong and tight. These guys are getting better and better.
Thanks for the new disc. The sound is awesome. I can't wait to hear it on the radio! (e-mail ledzepland@aol.com for details!)
Lisa is looking great. That Larry is one lucky guy.
Finally, I hope two certain ladies I really like sort out their differences.
We gotta stand together or fall together.

-- Ly's brother, Tien came out a couplle weeks ago. He seems like a born hard rocking guy. We hope to see him at the show April 6.

--Last of all, feel free to contact thhe other fine party people who get this newsletter. I know some of you don't know each other but why not send someone a mysterious e-mail or something.
Along those lines let me know if you want off the list. I may take you off….. for a price!
